Wednesday 31 July – Digicel Fiji and Unwired customers can pay their bills at 25 Morris Hedstrom supermarket outlets around Fiji. All major cities and towns in Viti Levu are covered including supermarkets in Labasa, Savusavu, Taveuni and Levuka.

Digicel Fiji sealed this deal with MH’s parent company Carpenters Fiji Limited this afternoon, making the bill pay system available to customers in a fortnight’s time. Carpenters will accept payments made by Digicel and Unwired customers at the nominated outlets.

“We are delighted to seal this arrangement to offer more bill pay options for our valued customers. We are always concerned about our customers convenience and this new bill pay deal will surely address that accordingly,” said Digicel Fiji Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Maurice McCarthy.

“I’m proud to join hands with Carpenters Fiji Limited especially when they have the footprint as they are the largest retail outlet supermarket chain in the country and this will benefit our customers,” added Mr. McCarthy.

“This will make things so much easier for our customers to pay bills.” Said McCarthy.

Carpenters Fiji Limited’s Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Gunasegeran Pasupathy said,” this agreement will benefit all Digicel and Unwired customers as Carpenters Fiji offers has been offering electronic payment services for the last seven years.”

“And with MH stores open seven days a week, Digicel customers will find it more convenient to pay their bills,” said Pasupathy.
