Tour operator Pacific Island Air recently took delivery of their new De Havilland DHC-3T Otter seaplane, visiting Castaway Island resort to pick up its first customers.
Fitted with the latest GPS system and inter-cabin communication headsets for each passenger, the ten-seater plane now offers a modern, fast and more comfortable transfer option to the island resorts.
Young passengers Liam and Luca Gasmus from Sydney were thrilled to be the first to board the inaugural flight from the popular island resort.
With its spacious interior, enormous 18 metre wing span and 14 metre length, resort staff have affectionately nicknamed the seaplane the ?island airbus?.
