The Fiji Rugby Union has today released the draws for the Fiji Water Centennial International?7s.
The draws see the inclusion of two top local?7s?teams, Westfield Barbarians and Wardens who have been invited to play in the two day tournament.
The two teams were chosen based on their achievements in the local?7s?tournaments this year.? Westfield Barbarians have won four tournaments, the?Nawaka?7s, the?Marist?7s, the?Taveuni?7s?and theWadigi?7s. They are currently the defending champions for the?Vatukoula?7s.
The Wardens have won one tournament, the?Vutia?7s?but were semifinalists in the?Nawaka?7s, and featured in the finals for the?Marist?7s?and the?Wadigi?7s?against Westfield Barbarians.
The tournament kicks off on 4 October with USA meeting Argentina in the first match at?9am. In the Oceania?7spool, Cook Islands will play against Papua New Guinea at 9.44am.
Two winners will be crowned at the end of the tournament with one being the Oceania?7s?winner and the other being the Fiji Water Centennial International?7s?winner.
The two day tournament will be held at the?ANZ?Stadium in Suva.
