Monday 28 October ? As part of its Customer Loyalty Program, Digicel Fiji handed out close to $25,000 cash to various clubs today.
The Loyalty Program which started in August last year has since seen more than 50 clubs and organisations benefit from cash rewards which is based on a percentage cut from the total spend with Digicel Fiji.
Digicel Fiji?s commercial director, Andrew Skelton presented cheques to representatives of the registered clubs saying he was happy to reward them and thankful for their support.
?I would like to thank you for your support for Digicel Fiji. I hope the money you get today will be of use to your club and enhance activities that you have planned in future for the club,? said Skelton.

Some clubs that received the cash rewards today were overwhelmed and thanked Digicel Fiji for putting in place this great program.
The program rewards payment in three stages, the first after four weeks where customers must spend at least $20 on top up and the club gets back 50% of the total top up spend, the second payment is after three months where the club gets back 10% of the total top up spend and the third payment is after six months where the club gets back 20% of the total top up spend in months 4 to 6.
The Staff Welfare Fund for the Fiji Police Jazz Band received $1588.80 in their second payout, Nabua Broncos rugby league team got $541.74, Moala Rugby Club of Suva received $601.79 in their third payment and collected a total of $1,586.49 for the last six months.
The program covers a wide variety of clubs ranging from village community projects, church groups and even the Suva Women?s Market Vendors who sell food in kiosks, received $426.75.
There are clubs on the program from all around the country and as far as Kadavu.
A total of $60,000 has been paid out in cash in this Customer Loyalty Program over the past six months.
