Weekly Weather Summary

Generally fine and dry weather was experienced over the west this past week with very little rain to report. Brief showers associated with a series of cloud bands resulted in the weekly accumulation of 12mm for Monasavu, however this is much less than the weekly accumulations over recent weeks. With the continuous dry spell aided by the gusty winds, the risk of fire remains high.

Good news for the drought affected parts of the West, as light rain is expected in the later days of this week with some isolated heavier falls with thunder possible over the coming weekend.
