Rohit Prasad won the Tatasclub NSW Fiji Open nailing a total score of 67 at the Macquarie Links International Golf Club in Sydney on Sunday, November 30.
Tatasclub, a non-profit social club, hosted its 8th annual competition and is believed to be the final event in the clubs golfing calendar.
The key goals and objective of the club is to raise and donate funds to give back to the people and families that is less fortunate and needs assistance.
Tournament winner and committee member Rohit Prasad said this year the club joined hands with Camp Quality and donated $3500 towards this organisation.
?Camp Quality has been supporting children living with cancer and their families since 1983.
?We have in years committed and provided for the following causes ? donation to Liverpool Hospital- neo-natel care, Victorian Bush fire appeal, Westmead Children?s Hospital, Fiji Flood relief appeal.
Sydney Tatasclub was formulated in 2000 by eight close friends residing in Sydney from Fijian heritage to have a common goal of playing social golf and the club took a more structured approach in 2004 by formulating a constitution and electing office bearers to run the club.
?Today Tatasclub holds a strong member base of sixty members from all communities in Sydney. The club organizes golf games for its members around most of the courses around Sydney region.
?Beyond this we organize tournaments such as the IDC, charity day, club championship, league and match plays.

Prasad won himself a return airline ticket to Fiji while Praneel Singh, who finished the tournament as the gross winner, won a 42 inch LED LCD TV set.
Meanwhile, the Oceania Golf School in Nadi is planning to host an international junior golf tournament next year.
The school held the inaugural Fiji Junior Open Championship at the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club in Nadi on Sunday, December 7 as Fiji Airways gave $5000 for the tournament.
