Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus Contestants Workshop ?Million Person Project

The 2015 Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus Queen and King Contestants will undergo a workshop on Saturday 30thMay at the Civic Centre, Suva.
The 1 day workshop (10am-5pm) will be facilitated by the Million Person Project (MPP) team from the United States.
The MPP team has been conducting workshops all over the world and recently here in the Pacific; PNG, Kiribati, Vanuatu, Tonga, Tokelau, Australia and New Zealand. This is a global project about love through storytelling and connecting change makers. The project is aimed at helping participants uncover their personal truths and strengths and then craft a narrative to share it with people from around the world. MPP believes that sharing personal stories is a key component to authentic leadership and creating change.
The workshop tomorrow will be the final MPP workshop in Fiji before the project team departs for the Marshall Islands.
The12 Queen and 13 King contestants are privileged to be able to participate in this workshop that provides them with the opportunity to articulate and express themselves better. Previous contestants have also undergone workshops but none as prominent as this that works to connect people from all over the world.
The Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus Festival will be the first time for many of these young men and women to address an audience, and with thousands watching not only at the venue but through the media from across the Pacific trainings such as these boost the confidence of the contestants. As a contestant they become role models to many other young boys and girls and these types of workshops with MPP prepares them for that responsibility.
The Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus 2015 will be held at the Carpenters Suva City Foreshore from the 14th to 22ndof August.
HEGI is also inviting organisations and agencies willing to sponsor a contestant or to be part of this very worthy and rewarding cause to contact the Hibiscus Events Group Inc. on 3311168 or email anjanar@hibiscusfiji.com
