The kind donations from their guest and partners have enabled Shangri-La Fijian Resort to build a walkway for the students of Nadroga Sangam School.

Resort General Manager Francis Lee said the walk way for the kids was damaged for quite some time now.

“We have received help from the Natadola Magical Tour and all the donations we have received are to do whatever we can for the kids,” he said.

Head teacher Dharam Singh acknowledged the Resort for their support.

He said the new walk way provides a huge advantage to the student especially during rainy seasons.

“This is a great occasion for the school. The weather has been one of the reasons for the delay in work but I am thankful to the Resort for their support,” Mr Singh said.

“We thank Shangri-La and the community and the support we get from the hotel industry and also from the Sangam board.”

The walkway cost $35,000 to construct.
