The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) positively accomplished four ‘Business Customer Forums’ late last month [Nov 30] that happened in Suva, Lautoka, Ba and Labasa.
WAF Chief Executive Officer, Mr Opetaia Ravai acknowledged the participants presence at the forums at the same time thanked customers for engaging their time to hear the latest updates on WAF’s services to the people of Fiji.
Hosting the Business Customer Forum on an annual basis, he said is a great opportunity to meet with customers at the same time was an opportunity for WAF to improve its services based on the feedback from customers.
Mr Ravai added the main aim of such forums was to foster trust, value and understanding with WAF’s customers.
WAF General Manager Customer Services, Mr Sekove Uluinayau said, “It is good that we have a forum like this to talk to you and present our challenges and our successes, and to hear directly from you, because you are the most important stakeholder in any business.”
Customers were informed about master plans in place, integrated meter management, liquid trade waste, as well as the ways to apply for myBill Info Card and the Rain Water Harvesting/ Free Water Tank Schemes beside plans are in place to conduct the forums annually.
Meanwhile, the first-ever forums was hosted at the Albert Park Pavilion Conference Room in Suva on July 26 this year, while three others were held in the week in Lautoka, Ba and Labasa besides it was an opportunity to discuss WAF’s commercial, residential and domestic customers, as well as institutions.
