Registrations for the 2018 Fijian Tourism Expo (FTE) have now closed but not without a record number of buyers signing up for the event, which is scheduled to take place from April 10 – 12.
Tourist Transport Fiji (TTF) has come on board as a major sponsor for the Expo and will be handling all ground transfers, meet and greet for delegates for the two-day event this year.
The transport company, which has been in operation for more than 25 years, specialises in ground handling and transfers of tourists across Fiji. This includes personalised private transfers, day tours, adventure and sightseeing and airport arrival services to name a few. Their fleet includes 52 vehicles ranging from private cars to 48 seats.
TTF General Manager John Hardaker said, “The Expo is the biggest of its kind in Fiji and we are pleased to support Tourism Fiji again this year. We believe that our ability to continue to deliver the best and reliable service has helped us win this bid and we look forward to this year’s Expo.”
It’s these types of companies that not only showcase Fiji’s great sights, experiences and adventures like the Sabeto mud pools, bilibili rafting and jungle treks, but also give tourists a taste of Fiji’s unique culture and lifestyle. The company also continues to invest into its people and build up their business. Last year the company invested around $1.4 million to upgrade their fleet and this year they plan to invest in seven new coaches to add to their fleet.
The Fijian Tourism Expo is an annual event, which helps quality international buyers meet with Tourism Industry partners here in Fiji. Tourism Fiji Chief Executive Officer, Matthew Stoeckel said, “We have a great working relationship with TTF and believe that they can exceed our guest’s expectations for the Expo. They did a fantastic job last year and we expect nothing short of the best again this year.”
The Fijian Tourism Expo 2018 will be held at Denarau Island Convention Centre from 10-12 April.
Editor’s note: TTF has a close association with many tourist based operations in Australia and New Zealand and our commitment to high quality operations is expected. No company in Fiji has a better understanding of visitor transport & ground handling requirements than TTF. TTF is part of the Hello World Group, one of Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific’s leading travel distribution companies. TTF meets the needs of over 100,000 passengers each year and has its base at the Nadi International Airport.
