There will more than 300+ participants from the insurance industry, utility service providers, engineers, planners, development partners, banking and insurance industries, contractors, academia, civil society organizations, youth groups and government regulators that will attend the International Engineering Symposium with the theme on “Sustainable Infrastructure, Successful Economy – The Modern Day Challenges in Infrastructure Development and Delivery”.
Among the participants that will attend, President of Ignite4Change and youth advocate, Broderick Mervyn was among the few to been invited to attend the one day Symposium that will take place on 23rd April 2018 at the Grand Pacific Hotel.
Mervyn wishes to acknowledge the South Pacific Engineers Association for inviting him to be part of this momentous event and expressed that the purpose of his attendance is to raise the awareness as to how youths play a critical role in the field of engineering. He also stresses that one of the topics in the Symposium Programme that caught his attention was the session on Anti – Corruption and Iso 37001 “Anti – Bribery Management Systems” (Abms) Standard and Good Governance and how this is vital in modern society.
He also wishes to acknowledge the love and support from his family, friends as well as members of Ignite4Change.
