Ignite4Change, a youth – led organisation will be hosting a Conquering Public Speaking Short Course on 28 April 2018 at the University of the South Pacific, Lautoka Campus from 9am – 4pm.
This course is to empower youths to become confident by improving their speaking skills in all situations, the competency skills to interact with others and to speak in front of small groups.
Ignite4Change wishes to acknowledge the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports for sponsoring this event, USP Pacific TAFE that will be conducting the short course as well as youths that had expressed their interest in attending.
The event targets 30 youths involved in youth clubs, non – government organizations, secondary and tertiary institutions within the Western Division of Fiji.
Broderick Mervyn, President of Ignite4Change and Youth Advocate stressed on the importance of this short course is for youths and it is quite timely especially for the youths in the Western Division. He also added that when Ignite4Change had brought this project to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the sole purpose for the youths regardless whether they are in school or in the workforce.
