As part of their Centennial Celebrations, it has been revealed by the Fiji Rugby Union that there will be a Centennial test between the Flying Fijians and the Classic All Blacks.

Team Manager, Andy Haden said they were delighted to accept the FRU’s invitation.

“The Classic All Blacks are delighted to accept the FRU’s invitation to play Fiji and be part of the centenary celebrations. We have fantastic team that will be announced later,” he said.

The Classic All Blacks is a team that represents the finest All Blacks players of yesteryear while celebrating the heritage of New Zealand Rugby.

Former All Blacks Justin Marshall, Carlos Spencer, Jonah Lomu and Andrew Mehrtens, were amongst the lineup that enjoyed the outing and won both matches against the Japanese national side.

The team has also played other matches against Leicester, the French Classics and the Classic Wallabies.

The match will be on 12 June and will be the first rugby match to be held at the newly renovated National Stadium.
