Jacks seals the deal with Marist 7s

Fiji’s leading retail and fashion outlet, Jacks of Fiji, has confirmed their partnership with Marist Rugby Club during the official announcement function at Jack’s Pier Street outlet in Suva on Friday, February 21.

Marist Rugby Club president and Chairman of the Organising Committee, Lawrence Tikaram said the event comes alive with more passion and excitement when great brands come together.

“We chose Jacks because they are probably the leading fashion retailer that is associated with many other global brands and we are happy to be part of this association,” Tikaram said.

“The Fiji Bitter Marist 7s Brand has been around for 38-years and now we intend to take our brand to our supporters Fiji wide and Jacks of Fiji has made this possible of which we are truly grateful for,” he added.

“I take this opportunity to thank Bhavin Khatri and his team at Jacks for making this possible for us.”

According to the Marketing Manager of Jacks of Fiji, Chandrika Maelge, Fiji rugby is a passion and being part of the greatest rugby event, The Marist Sevens, would be exciting for them.

“This is the best way we could associate ourselves with rugby and we hope that this will work as a winning combination of usual benefit,” Ms Maelge said.

Jacks of Fiji is the official Merchandise retailer for Marist Rugby Club and having world renowned sporting brand Adidas come on board, they will provide the official tournament match ball while all participating rugby teams will get a complimentary Jacks local brand QAQA rugby balls to take back with them after the tournament.

The 38th Fiji Bitter Marist Sevens will be played on 7th and 8th of Mrach at the ANZ National Stadium in Suva.
