The Alivereti Dere coached side took time out from their busy schedule preparing for the Pacific Mini Games to meet the children who are admitted at the children’s ward at CWM Hospital today.
The Digicel Fiji rugby 7s squad brought joy on the faces of about 50 patients during a special visit to the ward.
“This is an eye opener for most of the players,” said Digicel Fiji 7s captain, Benito Masilevu.
He added that he was really touched by meeting so many unfortunate children who are admitted for one reason or another and some with very serious cases.
Meanwhile, The Digicel Fiji Rugby 7’s squad would be leaving for the Pacific Mini Games this Saturday.
