A group of men robbed a security officer in the early hours this morning and made off with $19,000 cash and the company vehicle.
The incident occurred at a China Railway construction site along Khalsa road at around 3am this morning. Police are searching for the blue fourwheel drive registration FS471 which was stolen from the site.
Anyone with information is requested to call 917 or DPC South on 9905 802. Meanwhile the vehicle stolen from an early morning robbery in Namadi this week has been recovered in Nabua.
Police believe the same group of men are alleged to be involved in both robberies and a team has been working around the clock to apprehend those responsible.
