FDB TO GIVE SPECIAL CONDERATION FOR AFFECTED CLIENTS IN THE WAKE OF TD 15F

In the wake of flood and possible wind damage caused by tropical depression 15F, the Fiji Development Bank is offering special consideration for affected customers.

“We offer our commiserations to businesses and individuals that have been affected by the high winds and accompanying flood. We understand all too well the difficulties that come with such disasters and it is our intention to assist where possible, our customers to recover and rehabilitate their businesses in the shortest possible time,” says Mr. Deve Toganivalu, the chief executive officer for the Fiji Development Bank.

On offer for affected FDB customers are the following options:

a. Deferment of loan repayment; or

b. Restructure of their financials through interest concession; or

c. Suspend interest & fees and charges for a certain period; or

d. Interest only payment for certain period; or

e. Suspension of repayments for a certain period.

 

“Affected clients are urged to contact their portfolio officers as soon as practicable to request for this special dispensation if they need it,” Mr. Toganivalu said.
