FNU Engages with Industry Professionals

The Fiji National University (FNU) through its National Training and Productivity Centre (NTPC) is holding its annual Industry Discussion Forum (IDF).

IDF is one of the most significant events in NTPC’s calendar where the centre intensely engages with key stakeholders for effective feedback and future developments of its programs.

It is a platform which provides an opportunity to exchange ideas and views with the industry partners in relation to industry training and development needs. The purpose of this forum is to provide employers with information on NTPC training and services and seek input from the industry at the same time.

The forum aims to identify current and any future needs of the industry in order for NTPC to facilitate the same. Such forums in the past have proven to be an excellent platform for NTPC to evaluate its services and meet the existing training needs of the industry.

A total of 20 trained professionals from various divisions of NTPC will be facilitating the discussions at 13 different locations throughout the country.

The team after wrapping up its North visits earlier this month will now be starting with the Central Division. The IDF forum will then move to the Western Division including visits to Levuka. All visitations will end in June.
