May has been a busy month for Rajeev Singh, the founder of the real estate portal – HousingParadise.com, who recently presented at the Property Portal Watch Conference in Singapore.
The Property Portal Watch Conference is an international conference that brings together the executives from real estate portals from around the world to discuss managing real estate websites, real estate markets, trends and the technology being used.
The Conference was held in Singapore at Hotel Fort Canning from the 7th to 9th of May with Mr. Singh presenting about creating and operating an online real estate website targeting the South Pacific region.
“To be given an opportunity to present about HousingParadise.com, amongst industry peers at the event was a great honour and gives recognition for the hard work we have done. The South Pacific region has a lot of potential from both a real estate and technology perspective, and events like these allow us to show the world what we have to offer,” said Mr. Singh.
“We have been in operation for over 12 months now and the presentation was well received with great response from the industry. The attendees also loved viewing properties on the website during the Conference, especially the beachfront properties in Fiji,” stated Mr. Singh.
With over a 100 attendees at the conference, there was a lot of opportunities to network and explore other avenues for business which Mr. Singh took advantage of. “One of the other positive outcome’s is that I have been able to build strong networks and partnerships with industry leaders from around the world. This will lead to greater exposure for properties on HousingParadise.com, especially as we expand out to other islands within the region,” continued Mr. Singh.
“While we were one of the smaller websites at the Conference we have features and provide services that other major real estate websites around the world also offer. I find this important because it means we are delivering an industry standard product efficiently, and we can benchmark ourselves against mature markets. This helps in ensuring what we are offering will always help real estate agents, and provide domestic and international property buyers what they need,” said Mr. Singh.
