KRISTEN STEWART’S CHANEL CAMPAIGN INCLUDES CORNROWS, COWBOY BOOTS

Nearly three months after Kristen Stewart was announced as the new face of Chanel at Karl Lagerfeld‘s Paris-Dallas show, images of the Twilight actress’ campaign has leaked online Tuesday morning.

In the All American-inspired ads, Stewart is seen posing in feathered sleeves with a metallic top for one look while wearing an American flag-inspired outfit (a gown covered in stars with a red-and-white feathered jacket) in another. As usual, the actress gives off a moody vibe with her dead-serious face, all while rocking a cornrow.

Photos of Stewart’s Chanel campaign first appeared on Instagram, but the images have since been deleted. The campaign officially rolls out this May.

Stewart — who’s stylist Tara Swennen ranks at No. 20 on The Hollywood Reporter‘s 25 Most Powerful Stylists this year — was first styled in a Chanel frock when she stepped out for her first red carpet at the 2007 Toronto Film Festival. Looks like things have come full circle, indeed.
