Severe weather in the Central division has caused the cancellation of the Suva-Lakeba and Lakeba-Suva services yesterday.
Some Pacific Sun flights to Labasa, Suva and the Lau Group have also been delayed, while a Labasa-Suva flight had to be diverted to Nadi due to heavy rain and thunderstorms in Suva / Nausori area. Nausori airport was closed for refueling and boarding of passengers.
There have been minimum delays out of Nadi today however due to weather conditions en-route, all aircraft had to carry return fuel which has led to offload of baggage. Weather permitting, all bags will be dispatched on the afternoon flights.
All Fiji Airways international flights operated normally.
