Tragic road accident claims two lives
A woman and her child died after a tragic incident at the Suva Bus stand yesterday afternoon.The 46 year old woman and her 3 year old daughter were crossing between two buses when the incident occurred.
Police say that it is alleged that one of the buses was encountering engine problems when it hit the other bus and in the process hitting the two victims.
The two were then rushed to the CWM Hospital but unfortunately died due to the alleged result of the injuries sustained during the accident.
A senior vehicle inspector from the Land Transport Authority will be inspecting the Dee Cees’s bus alleged to have caused the accident.
Investigations continue.
