“Our hearts are still in Fiji” “We feel for our people, young and old” “We do our best in what we are good at.”
That was the quote from Mr. Jagdish Punja, the event director of the famous charity show ‘IMLI CHUTNEY NITE 2013’.
With year 2010 shows a success and collecting over $75,000 the team is now coming to entertain us once again.
Mr. Punja has also confirmed that he will be accompanied by the famous pop singer and comedian Jimi Nathu who people will get to see and laugh off their seats with his famous song Imli Chutney, English Numbers and Bollywood songs promising full entertainment, fun and laughter for non-stop two and half hours.
There are four shows planed where each show would contribute to a different charity cause. The first show is scheduled on the 6th of September at AD Patel College, Ba from 7.30pm, organized by Ba Gujarat Education Society Inc for AD Patel College and Tagor Memorial College.
Second show will be on the 7th of September at Tilak High School, Lautoka at 7.30pm, and Organized by The Golden Age Home Trust for the Golden Age Home.
Followed by the third show on the 13th of September at Rampur College, Navua at 7.30pm ,Organized by Rampur Education Society for Rampur College and Primary School and final show staging on the 14th of September at Penang Sangam School , Rakiraki at 7.30pm , Organized by Penang Sangam School for the Rebuilding of the Burnt School Building.
Mr. Jagdish Punja told The Jet that they are coming at their own expense and not a single cent is being charged by them for their efforts and performances and said that his was their philanthropic contribution to their people in Fiji.
“God works in mysterious ways. When a need rises He sends help. So here we are taking our time out from our working schedule to help out,” said Mr. Punja.
Meanwhile, Mr. Punja has asked the public to come and be a part of this worthy cause and in return enjoy one night of full entertainment and affection in an affordable price.
