The Fiji Rugby Union has confirmed that Timoci Wainiqolo is the Coach for the Fijiana Women’s 7s team.
Wainiqolo is an IRB Level 2 certified 7s coach and was the Assistant Coach for the Digicel Fiji 7s team for the 2012/2013 IRB World 7s series.
Wainiqolo will coach the Fijiana to the Oceania Women’s 7s in Noosa, Australia and also three legs of the IRBWorld Women’s 7s Series, which are Dubai, China and the third to be confirmed.
Also announced today were the Fijiana Women’s Assistant coach and Manager. Fereti Verebula will assist Wainiqolowith the coaching while Selita Koroi has been appointed the Team Manager.
Verebula brings with him a vast experience in coaching and is an IRB Level 3 certified coach, while Mrs Koroi who is also the Managing Director for Le Pain de Mie also known as the French Bakery brings with her a vast experience in management.
Their term will be for the 2013/2014 series.
