FLOOD ALERT

 

A FLOOD ALERT REMAINS IN FORCE FOR LOW LYING AREAS ADJACENT TO AND DOWNNSTREAM OF THE NAVOLAU STATION.

 

SITUATION: AN ACTIVE TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WITH ASSOCIATED CLOUD AND RAIN LIES OVER FIJI AND IS GRADUALLY MOVING EASTWARDS. IT IS EXPECTED TO AFFECT THE GROUP TILL LATER TODAY.

 

River Level at 09:00am on Sunday:

 

NAVOLAU STATION: 7.32m which is 1.32m above the alert level and decreasing.

 

Low Tide: At 02:15pm today Height:0.36m

 

High Tide: At 08:54am today Height:1.71m
