Monday 19 August – A titanic battle is in store when Nadroga faces Suva in the Digicel Cup final in Sigatoka on Saturday.

Nadroga hammered Namosi in the first semi-final two weeks ago while Suva had to fight hard to defeat Nadi 25 – 22 in the second semi-final last Friday.

Nadroga topped the Digicel Cup points table and have already won $5,000 and will be chasing to pocket more cash in the final.

Digicel Fiji and the Fiji Rugby Union will be handing out $17,000 for the winner of the 2013 Cup final while the runner-up will collect $5,000.

“We are anticipating a thrilling final show-down between the two best teams in the Digicel Cup this season,” said Digicel Fiji’s head of marketing, Ms. Sheryl Singh.

“Both Nadroga and Suva have proved their worth and have worked hard to reach the show-piece final at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka,” said Ms. Singh.

Nadroga thrashed Suva 30 – 16 in May during round-robin competition and will be strong favourites as they play at home and also defend the Digicel Cup crown.
