The Hon. Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum today received a courtesy call from the non resident Ambassador of the Republic of Chile to Fiji, H.E Isauro Torres Negri.
In receiving the Chilean envoy on behalf of the Fijian Government, the Acting Prime Minister said that Fiji intends to strengthen relations with Chile.
The two also discussed new areas of cooperation between their two countries.
Fiji and Chile established relations in 1972.
