The National Fire Authority says it will soon be conducting its investigations to determine the cause of the fire at Ba Special School.
4 classrooms, 1 recreational room and the library of the Ba Special School was destroyed in the fire.
The firefighters managed to save the main office and two classrooms, one of which was the school’s computer lab.
The National Fire Authority says the fire is believed to have started from a classroom which was vacant at that time.
There were no causalities reported as the 40 school children from the block destroyed and teachers had been safely evacuated.
