Fiji’s Ambassador to Brussels Deo Saran presented his Letter of Credence to Mr. Ahmet Uzumcu, the Director General of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague, Netherlands on Wednesday 8th July, 2015.

 

Ambassador Saran is based in Brussels and Fiji’s Permanent Representative to the OPCW.

 

In accepting the Letter of Credence, the Director General conveyed his warm and best wishes to Ambassador Saran and look forward to working with him in advancing interests of the Organisation.

 

Ambassador Saran thanked the Director General and assured him of Fiji’s total commitment and full support. The two discussed capacity development and the implementation of the Chemical Weapons Convention.

 

Ambassador Saran was accompanied by First Secretary Mesake Ledua and Personal Assistant Naitoko Baleisuva.
