A father who is alleged to have assaulted his 8 year old daughter has been charged with one count of assault.
The accused was produced at the Nasinu Magistrates Court today.
He is alleged to have assaulted his daughter on Saturday 24th January at their home in Nadera causing her injuries. The victim remains in the care of the Ministry of Social Welfare.
