Ba-Nadi Grand 2013 IDC Final

It will be an all western Super Premier 2013 IDC final at Lautoka’s Churchill Park as Ba and Nadi have qualified after beating Suva and Labasa in the semi’s with a new IDC champion to be crowned.

Ba came in firing in the first semi against defending champions Suva. Both teams applied immense pressure while Ba’s nippy striker Abbu Zaheed scoring for the  men in back leaving half time score Ba 1 and Nadi nil. Second half of the match got into high as attempts by the Ba side increased yet Suva began to play defensive soccer ending the match with a full time score of  Ba 1-0 Suva.

Second semi-final match saw Nadi against the Labasa side with much of a happening seen at in the second half as top midfielder Uraia Loki broke the Labasa defense  through scoring for the Nadi side in injury time making Nadi the second team to go into this years IDC grand final.

“We have done our homework well and once again we will go to our broad to get ready against Ba and will surely come out firing in the afternoon, said Nadi Soccer coach Kamal Swamy.

While, Primary Schools finals is underway between Labasa Primary and Ba Primary as this article goes online while theSecondary Schools finals which will be played against Saraswati College of Waila, Nausori and Drasa Secondary will start at 2.15pm.

Meanwhile, at 1.30pm the 2013 Courts IDC Premier finals would take place between Dreketi and Taveuni followed by the grand final for the Super Premier Division against Ba and Nadi which is set to kick off at 3pm.
