Viti Levu will be alive with cricket action tomorrow, with two tournaments taking place.
The Tailevu Zone Primary Schools’ Cricket Finals will be held at Nakelo Primary School, featuring 12 schools from the district competing in three pools. Awards will be presented for the winners of each pool, as well as prizes for team and Super 6 skills. Play will commence at 9.30am, with the Bulabalavu Trophy to be presented at 2pm.
Meanwhile, the Inter-Tertiary Cricket Championships will also be held tomorrow, at Suva Grammar. With teams from the University of Fiji, Fiji School of Medicine, University of the South Pacific and Fiji National University, the UniFiji team is looking to take out its third-straight title, in the tournament’s new Super 6s format for 2013. Play will commence at 9am until 5pm.
