Essay and poem Competition for topic 'Saving Lives: Interlink Rivers and save water'

Mumbai.Gandhi Vichar Manch, a social service organization(NGO) based in Malad (West), Mumbai, is organising an Essay and poem Competition for topic ‘Saving Lives : Interlink Rivers and save water.’ There are no entry fees. The organisation’s Chairman, Manmohan Gupta, has been advocating interlinking of rivers in order to save India from floods, drought and other calamities while contributing to national growth.

There is no age restriction and the entries can be in English,Marathi, Hindi or Gujarati. The entry can be sent via email to address given below. The first prize will be Rs 11,000, 2nd prize will be Rs 5000, third prize will be Rs 2500 and 10 consolation prize will be Rs 1000. Trophies and certificates will be given during a program organised at a later date. Final date for receipt of the entry is 31st May 2013
