18th June 2014 – Fiji Television Limited today announces that its existing television broadcast license was extended by the Minister of Communications, Mr Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum for a further 6 month period with effect from 30th June 2014.
In his letter dated 17th June 2014 to Fiji TV, the Minister stated that the extension will be “until further notice of any additional terms and conditions, including spectrum allocation, that may be prescribed, FTL shall continue to broadcast under the terms and conditions contained in its existing licence for the Extended Period.
