FLOOD WARNING

A FLOOD WARNING IS NOW IN FORCE FOR LOW LYING AREAS AND AREAS ADJACENT TO RAKIRAKI TOWN.

A FLOOD ALERT IS NOW IN FORCE FOR LOW LYING AREAS ADJACENT TO AND DOWNSTREAM OF THE WAIMANU STATION.

 

SITUATION: AN INTENSE TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WITH ASSOCIATED CLOUD AND RAIN REMAIN SLOW MOVING OVER FIJI. IT IS EXPECTED TO AFFECT THE GROUP TILL SUNDAY.

WAIMANU STATION: 4.06m which is 0.06m above the alert level and increasing

High Tide: At 08:33pm today Height 1.60m

Low Tide: At 02:16am Height 0.36m
