The President, His Excellency Ratu Epeli Nailatikau this morning received Guangdong Provincial Party Secretary, Mr Hu Chunhua at Government house.
Mr Hu, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, arrived into the country on Saturday with an 18-member delegation on a goodwill visit.
Following the courtesy call to the Head of State, the delegation paid a visit to Prime Minister Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama at the Office of the Prime Minister.
The delegation also attended the China (Guangdong) – Fiji Economy and Trade Cooperation Conference and signed more than 20 cooperative agreements on health, tourism, timber industry, real estate, agriculture and mining amongst others.
