Nadi Muslim Primary School was among 12 schools from around Nadi that participated in “Help A Child Trust” oratory competition.
The topic for the oratory contest was “My Role In Combating Climate Change” 2nd prize winner, Zain Zubaaid Ali of Year 801 urged the general public to make their lives greener. In his powerful speech the young ambassador showed great confidence as he spread awareness on the campaign against climate change.
“Even making small changes in our lifestyle can have a positive impact in preventing the onset of climate change” said Zain Ali.
The Head Teacher, an overwhelmed Mr. Mohammed Ali said, I am proud of Zain’s performance. He has been able to notch one of the top places despite the short time frame given for preparation”.
“Events such as these empower the participants. The school would continue participating and I encourage more students to exhibit their potentials”, Mr Ali said.
According to the teacher incharge, Mrs Ranjina Prasad, this achievement was possible through collective effort from the supportive staff of Nadi Muslim Primary School. She also thanked the parents of Zain Ali for their tremendous support.
