ILIESA DELANA INSPIRES SOFITEL’S AMBASSADORS

Fiji, 06 August 2013 – a total of 97 Ambassadors from Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa who recently completed the Ambassador Accreditation Program were honoured to receive their accreditation certificates from Mr. Iliesa Delana, who has inspired the whole of Fiji with his achievement of being the first Fijian to win any medal at the London 2012 Summer Paralympics (or Olympics), and the first from the south Pacific Islands to win gold.

The two-year Ambassador Program, officially launched in June 2011 to Sofitel’s 27,000 employees around the world, is designed to attract and retain talent and to provide opportunities for career advancement thanks to specialised training.

Mr. Delana congratulated the Sofitel Ambassadors for reaching this milestone in their career and went on to say that with dedication the sky is the limit.

The program, now in its third year, is an original 3-step training program designed by an international team of Sofitel training experts, has three components: Be Yourself, Be Ready and Be Magnifique.

“A total of 200 Ambassadors from Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa have been accredited to-date, all of whom should feel extremely proud to have achieved this tremendous milestone in their Magnifique journey”, said Simon Jinks, General Manager Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa. Jinks made special mention and thanks to the Resort’s Human Resources team for their ongoing commitment to the success of the program.
