(NATADOLA, FIJI) Friday 5th September 2014 – In a pro-active response to industry market trends, InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa has rolled out a ‘China-Ready’ programme to prepare the resort team to provide exceptional guest experiences to Chinese travelers.
As part of the industry leading InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), the resort aims to promote awareness and important of the Chinese travel market, and best practices of satisfying Chinese guests to deliver a wonderful Fijian holiday.
‘China-Ready’ training encompasses an overview of China, Chinese traveller profiles and characteristics, and basic Chinese language classes.
“We’re thrilled to launch the ‘China-Ready’ programme to raise awareness about the importance of the China outbound market,” said Mr. Jacob Pau’u, Acting Human Resources Manager at the InterContinental Fiji.
“The Chinese outbound travel continues to grow in traveller numbers and trip frequency. This training is essential in initiating understanding of the Chinese culture, and how to deal with cultural sensitivities well,” he added.
