InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa is delighted to announce the appointment of Erik Stuebe to the role of Area General Manager, to be based at the luxury resort on the iconic Natadola Bay.
With outstanding expertise in hotel development and management, Stuebe joins the award-winning InterContinental Fiji with over 30 years of invaluable experience. Erik obtained his qualifications in Europe and has since spent 14 years with Accor hotels prior to founding his own Hotel Management consultancy firm for independent hotels.
A welcome addition to the team, Erik brings with him a strong strategic leadership background and passion for hotel management. In his new role, he will take on the position of General Manager at InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa, as well as the Area General Manager for South Pacific properties Holiday Inn Suva and Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu.
Mr Stuebe comments, “I am excited to join a resort and team with such a positive global and local reputation.”
Having recently announced InterContinental Fiji’s Gold Sponsorship of the inaugural PGA OneAsia sanctioned Fiji International golf tournament on neighbouring Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course, Stuebe says the resort anticipates big things ahead for both Natadola Bay and Fiji’s thriving tourism industry.
Representing owners of the resort, Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) Board Chairman Mr Ajith Kodagoda says, “Over the last five years InterContinental Fiji has sustained double-digit year on year growth and established itself as ‘The People’s Resort’ of Fiji. We are optimistic about Erik’s strong leadership capabilities and look forward to working with him in leading the resort through the next stage of its journey.”
