Lomaiviti Barbarians unbeaten

Lomaiviti Barbarians remains unbeaten after winning all their three matches at the day one of the Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s in Prince Charles Park, Nadi, today.

The Marika Vunibaka coached side won their match against Gaunavou, Nadroga scoring three tries at the ground 2, 17-7.

Followed by a clean sweep of victory, after they thumped Nasolo Young Boys, 26-0.

Then later won against Ratu Filise Blue, 24-10.

Also unbeaten is the Western Police who also won three of their matches.

Team Manger and National 7s rep, Ulaiasi Lawavou said they are not taking any teams lightly in this tournament.

“we came into this tournament with a mindset of not under estimating any teams and thats how it will always remain as we continue to play tomorrow,” he said.

Lomaiviti Barbarians now leads Pool 1 and is one of the 32 teams qualifying for the double elimination rounds tomorrow.
