Men in black secure final spot in Vodafone Fiji Fact

Ba has now secured its berth into the finals of the 23rd Vodafone Fiji Fact after edging Rewa 1-0 at Prince Charles Park this evening.

Nigerian Sanni Issa opened the account for the men in black in the 24th minute with a powerful shot.

Ba maintained the lead at breather as Avineshwaran Suwamy further extended it with a powerful shot after getting the perfect cross from Malakai Tiwa in the 32nd minute of the second spell.

The men in black have won the Fiji Fact for an impressive seven times and featured in the finals ten times.

Ba coach Yogendra Dutt has thanked everyone who supported the team during the Fiji Fact outing.

“I wish to thank everyone who has helped us and it is always amazing to be in the finals of any tournament and we look forward to the game tomorrow.”

The second semi-final clash between Nadi and Suva had already kicked off when this article went online.
