MORE TRADE FLAGGED BETWEEN FIJI AND TIMOR LESTE

The prospect of increased trade between Fiji and Timor Leste has been the subject of talks in Suva between the Attorney General and Minister for Finance, Hon Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, and Timor Leste’s Ambassador to Fiji, H.E Abel Guterres.

 

The Ambassador made a specific request for more Fijian companies to develop businesses in Timor Leste and he and the AG discussed the wider issue of expanding trade and commercial links between the two countries.

 

The AG welcomed the increased cooperation between Fiji and Timor Leste and the prospect of more Fijian companies being able to supply the country with good and services.
