URGENT UPGRADE WORKS IN NADI TO IMPROVE THE RELABILITY
OF WAF SYSTEM WILL CAUSE TEMPORARY SUPPLY DISRUPTION
TO DAY (6/9/14)
Customers residing in some parts of Nadi are advised by the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) that they will experience a temporary disruption in water supply today from 10am till 5pm, Saturday 6th September, 2014.
Impacted areas include:
- Vunayasi
- Vunayasi Koro Makawa
- Malakua
- Navo
- Malolo
- Transmitter
- Moala Village
- Korovuto Village
- Dratabu
- Uci Road ( Waqadra)
- Bountiful estate.
- Waqadra
- Nasoso Residential
- Fasa Avenue
- Sabeto
This disruption in supply will be due to an upgrade work carried out by WAF at Vuniyasi and Uci Road in Nadi to enhance and improve reliability in our system.
The Authority advises its customers residing in these areas to store water now and use it wisely during this temporary disruption in supply. However, water carts will be servicing the above affected areas until supply is restored.
Supply is expected to normalise by 6pm tomorrow evening. (06/09). The Authority highly regrets inconvenience caused to its customers.
