The Navua soccer side is ready to battle it out with Ba in the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League this Saturday.

Navua will be playing its first match in the league this season and the side is confident enough to beat Ba.

Navua soccer Coach Manoj Kumar said the commitment shown by the player is nothing more he could asked for ahead of their clash with the heavy weights Ba.

“We are training as a full squad with 26-28 players coming for training daily, could not have asked for any more commitment from the players. Our aim is to beat Ba on Saturday and we will definitely do that come the match day.”

Navua which was known to be the miracle team by crowding the mid field in the last year’s IDC will be continuing from where they left off.

“We were a good team in the IDC, we will be better in the league, we won’t reveal our tactics now bit one thing is certain and that is Ba and the Western fans will be in for a surprise on Saturday. The Players are oozing with confidence; Navua will be fearless, stylish and effective this year,” Manoj Kumar enthused.

The side is boosted with the return of tall timber Apisai Smith and Speedy Netani Doli. The match kicks off at 1.30 pm of Saturday at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
