NEW WEBSITE FOR E-TICKETING SERVICES LAUNCHED

Foneology has launched a new website specifically related to electronic ticketing.

“The website was created following the numerous concerns raised by members of the public through the media,” Foneology Director  Mr James Trusler said.

The website, www.eticketing.com.fj contains relevant information related to e-ticketing. The site also has a news section whereby the public can get up to date information on e-ticketing.

“We also have a ‘Frequently Asked questions’ section that covers most of the common questions that the members of the public normally ask us,” Mr Trusler said.

The site contains the list of card issuing agents, top up agents, bus fares and stages as well as the number of buses that have been installed with e-ticketing machines.

There is also a complaint section on the website.

The Land Transport Authority has welcomed Foneology’s decision to create the website and its commitment to ensuring that the public was well informed of the e-ticketing project.

LTA spokesperson Iliesa Sokia said that initiative shown by Foneology to come up with the information website demonstrated Foneology’s ongoing commitment to the e-ticketing project.

“We are fortunate to have Foneology involved with such national project,” he said.

Mr Trusler said members of the public can also contact his company if they had further questions regarding e-ticketing.

“We are ready to assist anyone who has queries on the project,” Mr Trusler said.
