NFA assists Cyclone Evans students

National Fire Authority (NFA) handed over stationeries to the Leadership Fiji Alumni for their Cyclone Evan appeal at the Suva Fire Station today which will be given to the Cyclone Evan affected children in the Western Division.

NFA CEO John O’Connor said the NFA is proud to join hands and help the members of the communities in the Western Division during these hard times.

“This is one way of showing appreciation and giving a helping hand to our communities,” Mr O’Connor said.

“It is a great feeling for the NFA staff today to be able to bring smiles to parents and children with these stationeries which will be given to the children to assist them in the new school year.

“This also reflects NFA staff corporate responsibilities as part of our community service to our communities and we would like to assure our commitment and to the members of the community that we are all behind them during these difficult times,” Mr O’Connor added.

NFA Corporate Services Staff at the NFA Head Quarters in Suva made their contributions for the purchasing of the stationeries. The Leadership Fiji Alumni is supporting the Fiji Times and Williams and Gosling Gift Appeal.
