Officers honored for their achievements

Five Police Officers today were hosted to a morning tea by the Acting Commissioner of Police Ravi Narayan after they had graduated from the University of the South Pacific (USP) with Certificates in Office Administration and Management last week.

Mr Narayan thanked them for their sacrifice and their ability to balance out work with their studies.

“Your achievements will set an example to other officers who are thinking of carrying out further studies,” said Mr Narayan.

Fiji Police Force Director of Planning Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Unaisi Vuniwaqa who was also one of the five graduants said it was encouraging to see that their efforts were being appreciated by the Chief Officers.

“It’s indeed an honor to recognize such efforts and I’m sure this will encourage our officers who are also pursuing further studies,” said SSP Vuniwaqa.

The morning tea was also attended by the senior officer of the Fiji Police Force Headquaters.
