PM Hands-Over Lease Documents to Rugby Clubs

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimaramawith Naboutini Transport Limited , Mr Ali Gulsher who presented the $12,000 cheque to the three rugby clubs.

Prime  Minister Voreqe Bainimarama  today  handed  over lease documents  for the  construction of Nabua rugby club’s fitness gymnasium and land  for future development by the Lomai Rugby Club .

The hand-over was made during the launch of  the first rugby tournament for the Commodore Community Challenge between Raiwaqa, Nabua and Lomaiviti at the ANZ National Stadium.

The three rugby clubs – Raiwaqa, Nabua and Lomaiviti boast proud rugby traditions that extend back many years.

Prime Minister praised the rugby clubs for the development and empowerment of young people in their respective communities.

“I’m very proud to see the positive community spirit that has formed around these clubs and I’m even more proud to see that much of this is being driven by young Fijians,” PM said.

A cheque of $12,000 was also presented to the rugby clubs by the Naboutini Transport Limited.
