The two soccer executives that had been charged of obtaining financial advantage by deception appeared at the Nadi Magistrates Court today.
Vijay Singh ,44 President of Nadroga Soccer Association and his Vice President Krishna Bhan 33yrs have been bailed for $1,000 each with surety.
Singh has been charged with 2 counts of obtaining financial advantage and 1 count of obtaining financial advantage by deception while Bhan is charged with 2 counts of obtaining financial advantage by deception.
They are alleged to have been involved in an incident where Nigerian players had featured for the Stallions during the Fiji FACT and some National Football League games without proper papers and in some instances were not paid.
Meanwhile, the two have been ordered to surrender their travel documents and will appear at the Sigatoka Magistrates Court on the 9th of September, 2013. No plea was taken.
